Split pressurized solar water heater incorporates a number of flat plate collectors, pressurized water tank, pump station and accessories. The solar collector may be installed either on house roof or balcony while water tank may be placed anywhere inside house.

Principle

There have three parts of the split pressurized solar water heater system: one is pipe solar collector, the second is the water tank and there is one or two cooper coil inside the water tank (optional), the third is the working station which include the expansion tank, circulation pump, probe (pressure, temperature), check valve, the temperature sensor and flowmeter and the digital display.

The pipe solar collector absorbs solar energy and transmits it to the water tank through circulation, When the temperature of the collector reaches the set value, the controller starts the circulation pump automatically. The circulation pump makes heat-conductiong liquid circulate automatically. Then the heat-conducting liquid transfers heat to water by heat exchanger in the tank to heat the water.
